What does Bollywood Think Of The Proposed Boycott Of Ae Dil Hai Mushkil?

The proposed ban on Pakistani actors in Bollywood is quite a raging topic these days. Karan Johar's directorial venture Ae Dil Hai Mushkil is the first to be hit with this controversy. So what does the industry have to say on it? Let's find out:

On a personal level, I have loved the film. The bits and portions of the movie that I have seen, I have liked it a lot. It is a very sweet emotional love story. But as a proud Indian and a privileged member of the film fraternity, I feel that whatever is happening to the film right now is unfair, because it was shot over a year back when the political climate was quite different.

I don't know how much of whatever is being written and spoken in the media is true. So I really can't comment on it.

I think the films which have already been shot should be allowed to have a clean release. I hope that there is no problem in those films. Further from here on, they can decide what they want to do.

As an actor, I think it's not fair to the filmmaker. This film was shot over a year back. I hope that the film has a wonderful release, and people enjoy a beautiful love story made by Mr. Karan Johar.

The film had been shot long back. Therefore, stopping its release is not something that I would stand by.
